How do you remove an icon off the desktop when you already deleted the program?
I deleted the program but the icon is still on the desktop. I try to delete it but it says cannot find program. I have Vista. Help!
Left click and hold on the icon and drag it to the trash bin.

if you’ve deleted the program then the icon should automatically remove itself when you shutdown / restart your computer. if not then drag it to the recycling bin.

If the icon remains on your desktop you may not have removed the associated software. However, you can delete the icon by placing the mouse pointer over it and right click, then select delete from the drop-down menu.
