What is a Christian charity group that is interesting and has a lot of background information?

I have this assignment at school for Religion, and I need to do a research, and a presentation about a Christian charity organisation of some sort that will have a lot of information about. Such as the history and events/activities, leaders.
I am also looking for something that others wont do, I like to be different.

I am not looking for someone to research for me, just to help me find the Organisation.
