What do good christian men require from a woman? How should she be/ act like?
I am a christian young woman, im 17, but quite mature by my age.
I just wonder, what other christian men today in 2008, want in a woman.
So many women today were not taught how to run a household efficiently while in the care of their mothers. God gives guidelines for how a virtuous woman lives. Proverbs 31 is an empowering look at the role of women. Not only is a virtuous woman righteous in the Lord, but she is a loving wife and mother, a smart shopper, a seamstress, a gardener, a good housekeeper, and trains her children with wisdom. Her husband appreciates her and can praise her to his associates and friends because she is worthy of praise. Is this attainable for the average Christian woman? Absolutely! All things are possible through Christ. With prayer and study and a little know-how, we can all be “Proverbs 31 women.”

Above all be strong in yourself, do not be dominated, do not abjectly submit because you are told to. There is a biblical cooperaton between man and wife that leads to harmony.
Also study to show yourself to be approved. Never consider yourself to be the lesser half.

Emma, I suppose every Christian man is different. But for me I desire above all things in a woman that she know and love God and wants to serve him with her whole heart. There is something about a woman of God, a sweetness of spirit that far outweighs any kind of physical beauty there is. I also like women who are domesticated, Although this is a rare quality today it’s something that attracts me to a woman. I also like a woman who dresses like a woman and is feminine yet modest . I like a woman with a quiet spirit. I never was one for women who were very assertive and bold. Which seems to be a growing attribute of women today. These are some of the things I like.

As a Christian, you should always go to the source of wisdom that is best, the Word of God; 1st Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;3:2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear. 3:3 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Now don’t take this as a tyrant over servant explanation, because if you were to go and read Ephesians ch. 5, you will see what the Christian husband is to sacrifice for his wife.
