It is hard and painful to live a Christian life here on earth. A Christian has to live in 2 worlds, the world of the Spirit and the world of the flesh. Christians have to wear the armor of the Word and stand true and firm with the Word of God to be a true Christian. A true Christian fells the pain Jesus felt during His crucifixion from the unbelievers shouting death when He only came to spread the word of Love and to redeemed us with His blood of our sins.
Living in the flesh is easy to live in sin because one follow no moral laws but their own laws man make to live in a world temptation of evil.
I pray for those true Christian missionaries and martyrs that go over sea's to work and spread the Word of God to who ever that wants to listen and need the help of God and Jesus Christ as Our Savior and Lord.

GOD BLESS! AMEN! SHALOM!
References :
HOLY BIBLE/PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

Many think Hey I'm on Gods side, now things will be easy. But they will soon learn that we have become an enemy of the world and satan that will throw fiery darts at us. But we have the sword of the Lord to help us through. Peter 5:10 " But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. "
References :
I didn't underestimate the opposition I would get. My relationship with the Lord began firstly with being drawn to seek Him out, when I asked if He was really there.. and if so, there had to be something better than the human condition I saw around me at that time.
I had a very tangible response when He organized 3 trusted Christian people to tell me the same answer. None of them had coordinated it between them - the coordinator was the Lord!
I was specific in wanting truth instead of the array of conflicting doctrines on offer, and I found out, to my astonishment, that my new employer was also a pastor & excellent Bible teacher.
He told me, and confirmed with scripture, that I would now experience a flare-up of opposition from the people I knew and even from my godless family. I expected a spiritual clash.
When some work colleagues were visibly agitated at just being in the same room, and launched their sarcastic verbal attacks because I was reading a Bible in my lunch breaks... my faith was strengthened in the knowledge of the nature of those attacks. The same people declared themselves to be Roman Catholics, which was no surprise to me.

It was the same when my own mother, who had never in my 33 years mentioned anything about faith or Christianity, became extremely critical - calling me a "fanatic" - and began sprouting vague and scrambled up bits of dogma at me, whose origin seemed to be the Nicean Creed of 325AD!!

There can be pain and difficulty, but my solution is to be more selective of my company.
References :
Isa 53:4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows...

Learn how to deal with it in the same ways that you deal with sin. It is an amazing thing when the things that would drag you down like a boat anchor simply - - - - don't.
References :
Jesus said that it was going to be difficult (John 15:18-25). That is why He said to take up our "crosses" and follow Him (Mark 8:34-38). But, thankfully, His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:28-30). Plus, this tribulation will not last forever (1 Corinthians 15:50-58). I am assured that if I persevere to the end, I will receive the crown of eternal life that the Lord is waiting to give me on the Judgment Day (Revelation 2:10; 2 Timothy 4:8). Therefore, I will count it all joy when I fall into various trials (James 1:2).

I suggest that you keep these things in mind. Also, attend services regularly so that you can be encouraged by your brethren in Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25). And, never forget the power of prayer, always remembering that the loving God of all Heaven and earth hears and cares about you (Matthew 7:7-11).

I hope that these things help.
God bless.
I'll be praying for you.
References :
My wife recently passed after spending 30 days in ICU, so I too have recently had a tough go of it. I feel like Paul: "For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better. But if I live, I can do more fruitful work for Christ. So I really don't know which is better. I'm torn between two desires: I long to go and be with Christ, which would be far better for me. But for your sakes, it is better that I continue to live" (Philippians 1:21-24)
So now I do what I can for the Lord and pray He will eventually reunite me with my wife in Heaven.
