How big of a threat is the internet to pseudo christian sects recruitment?

Since information about almost any religious movement can be tracked down on the internet, is it hindering pseudo christian sects from bringing in new recruits?

The easy reach for information makes the lie very hard to sell

The internet is spreading knowledge and making it much harder for all cults to brainwash new members. And all christian sects are cults. All religion is fantasy. The internet is making it harder to be deceived and is waking people up through education.

I think it helps greatly. I always walk away from an R&S session to go and pray for all the ones who need it. How else could I pass on this much wisdom where people can’t really talk back or debate
