What do you think about a catholic priest who directs porn movies?
The Brazilian Catholic Priest Antônio José Duarte is the director of 3 amateur porn movies which can be found in some websites.
It´s a little strange if we think about how much his church hates sex, really?
I think he’s an example of capitalism at work.

I mean, I’m not Catholic, but I think anyone who is part of any church that preaches/advocates the importance of monogamy/how special sex is supposed to be/the fact that you should be married when you do it and then goes and then goes and directs porn movies makes him a complete contradiction of himself and pretty much a hypocrite.
But as a completely unbaised, 3rd person POV, who has no thoughts on the matter, it’s kind of funny in a completely unfunny way, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

Seems pretty contradictory to me.
Still, you can’t rule the church evil because of one nut. Judging by the fact you said "his church", I’d guess you dislike the Catholic church. If I were you, I would take it by a case by case basis. Don’t trust it because it’s the church, but don’t condemn it because one priest is a porn director…

Maybe he’s just following the old adage,
"If you can’t join ‘em, beat ‘em."

What’s wrong with a person following a second profession? A director has to go by the script of the movie, sex or no sex and I find no contradiction what so ever in this case.

The catholic church has to remove that priest from the church and cast him out. This is what Jesus says about the priest and what the church needs to do.
1 Corinthians 5
I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—10not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. 11But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. 12For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? 13God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

If true, this priest would be guilty of sin and of leading others into sin.
Pornography consists in removing real or simulated sexual acts from the intimacy of the partners, in order to display them deliberately to third parties.
Catholics believe that pornography offends against chastity because it perverts the intimate giving of spouses to each other.
It does grave injury to the human dignity of all participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others.
For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, section 2354: http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt2art6.shtml#2354
+ Sex +
Your statement "how much his church hates sex" is incorrect.
God is concerned with how we treat each other.
We have been instructed to love
+ Our neighbor as we love ourselves
+ One another as Jesus loved us
When we treat each other like sex objects, when sex is taking instead of giving, we damage the human dignity of both our partner and ourselves.
True giving of yourself to another in a sacramental marriage is what love is all about.
Marriage is a symbol of God’s creation of the world in an act of divine love and self-outpouring.
Marriage is a symbol of the love, commitment, intensity, and passion of Christ for the Church for which He laid down His life.
Christians take sex very seriously because it is a glorious gift from God that lets us feel just a bit like God. We become lovers, givers, and creators.
With love in Christ.
