Eve and the taking of the fruit is a good example:

The Bible stories are all just descriptions of a persons inner states as they advance spiritually as opposed to being a literal history of events. All these states, as it turns out, are necessary for attaining the goal of our creation. Here is an article about the true meaning of the stories of Bible:

There should be many stories available online. Internet being the world's largest library you can find the Bible story that you are looking for. But you will have to search for some time using Google. You can try http://www.biblestudybook.net/ because it is the place where people learn about Bible. I really love the topic that you choose to have a look at!
References :
Just look at the story of Joseph in Genesis. I've always felt that someone in his situation would have had every excuse to rebel against everything he had been taught -- but this was a young lad who remained true to his God in circumstances where he was on his own, without any fellowship at all, sticking to his faith and refusing to throw it all in. And what was the result? Prison! But ironically prison proved to be the means by which God brought him to the attention of Pharaoh and his saving of the people of Egypt, with God's help, led to the saving of his own people.
