How much does a 1600s German bible sell for?
We have found out it is in mostly German, but contains Latin as well. We also think that it has some French in it, but aren't positive about this. The bible has a publishing date of + or minus 1660. We can't find out what the approximate cost of this bible is, and we do know it is only approximate since we don't have the exact name of this bible. Please let us know.
You will need to do some more detailed research or take it to a rare book expert.
It's value will probably vary widely according to condition and rarity of that particular edition, as well as current demand for it from collectors.

Take it to your local library and have the librarian look it over. Take it to an antique book dealer and have it appraised. You might have something quite valuable on your hands. If it is valuable then you should definitely insure it.
