How come the Bible is the downfall of many denominations of Christianity?
Like in Mormonism, they teach something about Christ that Paul doesnt preach. In Catholcism, they teach something about Mary that the bible didn't teach, in certain sects of Evangelism, their own preachers are flithy rich, and lie, and the bible preaches against that. And there are many more.
So why are so many denominations, who are supposed to be based on the teachings of the Bible, not in line with the bible??
It's doing the work God intended it to do! "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of sol and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).
The Bible is so written that our motives are exposed. The way we handle the word of God shows whether we are prepared to "let God be found true, though every man be found a liar" or not (Rom. 3:4).
Only when we receive the word of God is it "effectively at work in you who believe" (1 Thess. 2:13). Those who try to use it for their own ends are exposed as frauds. They can never see that, of course! They will argue till they are blue in the face that they have interpreted scripture correctly, or translated it better, or that their leaders have more authority. You don't need extra-biblical writings either (though most of the pseudo-Christians do). You just need to want to have a following, or a source of money, or to be looked up to by others, to start twisting scripture. It's not the Bible's fault! The Bible warned this would happen! (2 Pet. 3:16)

Because Christ only built one church (Matthew 16:18) and that one church has one faith, one baptism, one doctrine, and one name.
See Ephesians 4.

I THINK THAT PEOPLE AND DENOMINATIONS TWIST AND TURN THE WORD OF GOD TO FIT THE LIFE THE LIVE. IN ORDER TO NOT HAVE TO SACRIFICE WORLDLY THINGS OF PLEASURE, THEY JUST DO WHAT SUITES THEM.. THE BIBLE IS FOREVER AND AMEN. IT DOESNT CHANGE PEOPLE DO.

It is because the bible was never intended to be read nor interpreted by any other than learned biblical scholars. When it was made available to the unwashed masses all the trouble began. Any ignorant preacher or undereducated buffoon can pick up the book and make any interpretation that he or she sees fit. Even Paul (Saul of Tarsus) made interpretations that were his own and therefore subject to conjecture.

The denominations or religions of Christianity are mans attempt to please God man`s way and not God`s way.
God did not create the religions, man did.
God just said to preach the Good News to all men.
Man decided that they wanted to do it a certain way and made up traditions and different meanings to the bible verses. Now it seems some denominations only teach the traditions and not the teachings of Jesus. Thus you get denominations who are not in line with what the bible says.

Because
each sect of christianity
cherry picks what´s good for them
Lack of communication between sects
The Bible it self – it offers so many allegories and different explanations of a same events, it is impossible
to be it otherwise

Well, if you read the bible like any other book with out understanding the context of the passage or the scripture, Yes, you'll get wrong impression. rightly dividing the word of truth is very important. Sure, any denominations can take scripture out its meaningful context and build a false doctrine on it. ( take in the way that suit the agenda of the denomination) They did that during spanish Inquisition era, They used the bible to back up their act.
Hence, context is very important when you read the bible.
God bless

Jesus Speaks:
JOHN 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The Holy Bible is the only true book…
The Everlasting Gospel is "The Word of God" and The Spirit of Prophecy is "The Testimony of Jesus"….

Jesus' ministry consisted not merely in sermonizing, but in educating the people.–We should seek to follow more closely the example of Christ, the great Shepherd, as He worked with His little company of disciples, studying with them and with the people the Old Testament Scriptures. His active ministry consisted not merely in sermonizing but in educating the people. As He passed through villages, He came in personal contact with the people in their homes, teaching, and ministering to their necessities. As the crowds that followed Him increased, when He came to a favorable place, He would speak to them, simplifying His discourses by the use of parables and symbols.
Christ's preaching was simple and direct.–His words were simple and direct, and no one need look in the dictionary to ascertain His meaning. A child could comprehend His teaching. And as He did His work, so are we to do ours, following His example

Satan Creates Dissention; Business Standing to Be Correctly Presented
The Saviour foretold that in the latter days false prophets would appear, and draw away disciples after them; and also that those who in this time of peril should stand faithful to the truth that is specified in the book of Revelation, would have to meet doctrinal errors so specious that, if it were possible, the very elect would be deceived.
These false prophets will have to be met. They will make an effort to deceive many, by leading them to accept false theories. Many scriptures will be misapplied in such a way that deceptive theories will apparently be based upon the words that God has spoken. Precious truth will be appropriated to substantiate and establish error. These false prophets, who claim to be taught of God, will take beautiful scriptures that have been given to adorn the truth, and will use them as a robe of righteousness to cover false and dangerous theories. And even some of those who in times past the Lord has honored, will depart so far from the truth as to advocate misleading theories regarding many phases of truth, including the sanctuary question.
