Church. Who decides. The pope alone, several people or just how does that happen. Thanks. I am a Catholic that is curious to know, who would make that final decision.
The law would be "accepted," not excepted. The Pope has final say, but it goes before the law tribunal and is debated.

Why Buddhist and Taoist seldom spread and strengthen their religion to other Chinese or Indian in malaysia and White man in the West compare to the Christian keep on spreading the gospel whe they see friends who are not Christian
To them they believe that their god is the only true one and want to save people mah! By doing that they shown terrible no respect to other religions. No religions in this world is bad. Such actions cause tension and unstable among the races/faiths and countries respectively. These guys just think of the positive side but never admit the negative impact to the nation as a whole.

I'm looking for the different perspectives regarding the origin of the bible from the view point of believers and non believers. Specifically the approximate date it came into existence.
So from believers I'm looking for a bible passage or some kind of religious text that states the origins of the bible.
And from non-believers I'm looking a scientific article or some sort of historical account of the bible's creation.
I am familiar with the Gutenberg bible so I am not looking for that date. I would expect it would be quite early into the A.D.
The bible was written over a period of 1400 years by 40+ authors on three different continents in different walks of life speaking three different languages and never even met each other but when their words came together it was in perfect harmony from beginning to end. God inspired all of them what to write. All the writers even said themselves that God told them what to write.

I'm catholic, and I never really noticed a difference. Is there? If there is, what is it?
Christianity has been split into over 30,000 different denominations, sects and cults setting christian against christian and christians against everyone else!!
God's work? Hardly!!
It must be the Devil and the Antichrist working together to divide, conquer and destroy christianity from the inside!!!

Like in Mormonism, they teach something about Christ that Paul doesnt preach. In Catholcism, they teach something about Mary that the bible didn't teach, in certain sects of Evangelism, their own preachers are flithy rich, and lie, and the bible preaches against that. And there are many more.
So why are so many denominations, who are supposed to be based on the teachings of the Bible, not in line with the bible??
It's doing the work God intended it to do! "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of sol and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart" (Hebrews 4:12).
The Bible is so written that our motives are exposed. The way we handle the word of God shows whether we are prepared to "let God be found true, though every man be found a liar" or not (Rom. 3:4).
Only when we receive the word of God is it "effectively at work in you who believe" (1 Thess. 2:13). Those who try to use it for their own ends are exposed as frauds. They can never see that, of course! They will argue till they are blue in the face that they have interpreted scripture correctly, or translated it better, or that their leaders have more authority. You don't need extra-biblical writings either (though most of the pseudo-Christians do). You just need to want to have a following, or a source of money, or to be looked up to by others, to start twisting scripture. It's not the Bible's fault! The Bible warned this would happen! (2 Pet. 3:16)

I know there are so many protestant and non denominational. Just a general difference and similarity.
Protestant churches are of a denomination, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, etc. Non denominational churches do not follow or belong to any one denomination, hence the non part of the name. Christian non denominational churches tend to attract Protestants however.

I am Orthodox, and my priest has a beard. Every other Orthodox priest I know has one as well. Is there a symbolism to this, or is it just a style and there are priests out there who don't have one?
It's in the canons (Canon 96 of the Sixth Oecumenical Synod) that clergy are not to cut their beards, under pain of excommunication. Some take the canon to be for another time, and are either clean-shaven or (not quite able to do away with the canon altogether ) with goatees or have the three-day-stubble look.

I don't know the difference between catholic and protestant.
There are many but your best bet to understand is to sit down, get ready to read a lot, and go to authoritative and unbiased sources.
The big different between Catholicism and Protestantism are the five pillars, which paint a different picture of salvation, definitions of sin, freewill or predestination. These differences are many and vary from church to church.
Catholicism would have the claims to be the oldest, most faithful representation of Christianity based on comparison between the Church today and the Bible. Also comparison between the Church today and the teachings of Christians in days gone (a democracy of the dead if you will) such as those writings of The Church Fathers.
Catholics believe in seven sacrament.
Protestants believe in two.
Catholics believe that the Eucharist is changed in essence into The Body and Blood of Jesus Christ (see John 6, and The Last Supper)
Protestants believe this was only a symbol.
Catholics believe Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture are equal in value in sharing The Word of God. (The Bible says as much and there are many Christian teachings not in The Bible, such as The Trinity)
Protestants believe that only that which is "plainly" laid out in The Bible is too be believed.
Catholics believe that we are justified by "faith together with works". We must have faith, but we will also be judged according to our works.
Protestants believe in the mad made doctrine "Sola fide" or "Faith Alone" which says that we only need to believe and we are saved.
Other points of contention include;
- Clerical celibacy
- Church authority and hierarchy.
- Biblical canon
- the priesthood (automatic or consecrated)

How long does it take to break in running shoes for cross country?
after a few runs, depending on the shoe.
a word to the wise: never wear shoes for the first time at a meet, always use them in practice a few times before a meet to prevent (hopefully) blisters and pain.
