How do i remove a icon on the taskbar notification area on the desktop?

Theres been this icon on the bottom righthand corner of the screen that blinks constantly. I tried putting it on ''hide'' but every time i turn back on the computer its there. It is untitled and i do not know were to remove it. I think it appeared because of a virus.

If you could give me any adware/vius advice that would be helpful as well.

Scan your PC with these two. Both are free and safe to use.

Spybot – Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free.

What would a cross between a lakeland terrier and a yorkshire terrier look like?

I am getting a puppy soon, and saw an ad for a lakeland and yorkie cross, and I was just wondering if anyone knows what it would look like? Large dogs are a big big nono for me as I live in an apartment, so I would like to know the size too.

well i hope those puppies were an accidental mix. i couldnt find a pic of that mix but i did find lovely pics of the breeds individually. (i cant imagine WHY anyone would want to breed these two dogs together!)

to be honest….why not check out your local SPCA or animal shelter? they have small dogs, adult dogs….so you dont have to worry about it taking so long to potty train. some dogs that are in the SPCA are fostered in ppls homes. that's what i do! we potty train the dog, socilaize the dog, and get an idea of it's personality and what family the dog would be best suited for. plus when you get a dog at the SPCA or animal shelther they have already had all their shots, and will be spayed or neutered.

One of my dogs, a chihuahua Dachshund cross (Peggy Sue) i adopted from my local Kill-shelter….i saved her life and got a fantastic dog. AND when she was sent to the vet for a spay they Xrayed her and sure enough, she was already spayed. i only had to pay the cost of her shots to adopt her…a whopping 4 bucks!! she's a sweetheart too, everyone tells me they want to take her home w/them.

go check out your local shelter…you might be surprised how many great little dogs you can find there. ppl throw away GREAT dogs all the time…it's a shame.

wow a thumbs down for suggesting you save a homeless dogs life! and Glow…you're just as bad. i dont think i've ever seen anyone with their lips so firmly planted on someone elses butt in my life!

What does the bible actually say about heaven and hell?

I will admit that I have not read the bible much, so I do not know too much about it. So my question is, what in the bible makes us believe there really is a heaven and a hell? We think of heaven as a great beautiful place, and hell as an ugly horrible place. What passages in the bible give us this image of heaven and hell?

Something about golden streets and pearly gates, then something about lake of fire and brimstone and yadda yadda. =)

Why did my protestant baptism count when I was confirmed into the Catholic Church?

I was confirmed into the Catholic Church in April of this year, but was not baptized Catholic because they said that since I was baptized Methodist when I was a baby, that counted for my baptism. Why is a protestant baptism legitimate in the Catholic faith? I was also baptized Mormon several years ago, but that did not count. I appreciate any input anyone has. Thanks!

My Catholic Utah,

Thank you for your email! In the Catholic Church, baptism is the only sacrament that can be performed by someone who is not ordained (has not received the sacrament of Holy Orders). A lay person can perform the baptism of a baby if they believe as required and perform the baptism according to the proper formula as Misty mentioned above. The Catholic Church only allows for one Christian baptism (the Church does not recognize LDS baptisms as Chrisian baptisms, since they do not share the Christian view of the Trinity). The Catholic Church holds that there is One Triune God comprised of Three Distinct but Equal Persons.. Since the Methodist and Catholic religions are in agreement in their concept of the Trinity, the Catholic Church recognizes the Methodist baptism as valid.

Even though lay people can perform baptisms, most people still have the sacrament performed by a priest or deacon. However, one who believes accordingly and uses the correct formula, can baptize an aborted baby, or a child who died without being baptized into the Catholic faith, so that the child may enter into the Beatific Vision of God (the higher heaven, where people are thousands of times happier than in the lower heaven).

God bless!
Rob

Do Orthodox Jews curl their hair at night with a roller to get that perfect spiral curl?

Orthodox Jews often have a spiral curl on each side of their head. I was wondering how they get that curl curly. Do they roll it up or do they use curling irons or what other method do they use?

Naturally curly hair!

What happens if its Catholic priests vs catholic bishops?

There are Catholic priests who want to follows the Pope’s idea and not their bishop’s ideas.
These priests find its a better example of being a true catholic and not abusing the power of the Pope.

We are under obligation to follow the magistarium of the church, Bishops, priests and lay people. The pope is the head of our church and the truth of the church are under obligation of obedience to follow him. We also have the right, when we think that someone is not in league with the pope to correct them. not fight over it but correct him. If the pope says something totally off the wall, like if he all of a sudden said that abortion is now accepted because of rape or incest and we know that murder of any kind is not accepted then we should also question this. But, as a whole we are all under obedience to the pope. He is our guide and leader in spiritual matters and he interperts the laws of Jesus Christ. God bless you

What are some good Christian songs to sing in a talent show for a female alto?

Either Christian, inspirational, or just…something that's okay for an all-school talent show.

Jpy of My Desire, Just A Closer Walk With Thee, Amazing Grace, People Need the Lord. There are also many more, look through books, maybe go online and see if you can find anything.

How do you remove the words underneath an icon in Windows Explorer?

I'm wanting to remove the words that usually appear as a title/description to whatever program the link/icon is attached to. I just want to be able to see the icon without any words underneath. Is there anyway to do this is Windows XP Pro SP2?

One simple way is to make the background color of your desktop the same as the icon text color. Of course, almost no one has a single color wallpaper.

If you download TClock2 from http://shii.org/tclock/ and install it, you can choose to not show any desktop icon text (among a host of other options).

do you think cross will try to help the earthquake survivors in China?

don't you think that the red cross should help the survivors in China?

Yes, I'm pretty sure they already are…we should all try to help others and not expect something in return. If I were single (no kids) I would probably take a family leave and join the red cross.
It is within us to help humanity!

What verses in the Bible are about having a strong work ethic?

I need to tell a teen boy that he has to strive to get the best grades possible. He says that his ACT scores are the only thing that count. Let’s say that’s true. What Bible verses address doing well in school as being important in and of itself not just to get into college or please parents?

A disturbing trend in students’ values is that instead of university study being seen as the way to improve one’s mind and character, to acquire knowledge about ideas, people, technology, and the world, schoolwork seems to be seen by the average college student as the way to get things, to acquire attractive and impressive possessions. The goal for many students, then, is not to “know” but to “get”-good grades and a good job afterwards. If such students have little appreciation for the value of honest learning in order to be well informed and well educated, it is easy to see how they can rationalize cheating and lying as a legitimate means of achieving grades and graduation. What kinds of behavior can we expect from such people later in their jobs or careers?
