Hello, I am trying to become an active evangelist in my christian life. I am looking for some tips on spreading the christian gospel to people who have never heard it before. Also, I am looking for some good verses from the bible to use to spread the christian faith to someone who has never heard of it before.
Thanks for any help. 10 points for best answer.
Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

I was raised Catholic and my future husband was raised Protestant. We will be getting married at a chapel and I was wondering if we can have both a Catholic priest and a Protestant minister officiate our wedding. Have people done this? I’d love feedback. Thanks.
Many years ago my sister married a catholic. The wedding was in our home church with our current minister officiating (we are Baptist) but a catholic priest was asked to “bless the wedding” with a prayer. It was quite nice, and, as my mother said to the few church members who objected, newlyweds need all the blessings they can get! Anyway, you will probably want to select one to be the primary officiant, and then have the other say a prayer or read a scripture. Since you are the bride and you are catholic, I would think the priest would be the primary. Talk to officiants and they will be able to give you more information.

After centuries of Tzars supporting the Russian tradition of Serfdom it was finally outlawed in 1861..
Since the Tzar was head of the Orthodox Church and god’s representative on earth, what role did the broader church play in maintaining Russian serfdom?
The peasantry equated the Tsar and Religion with a sense of righteousness and fairness. The 1905 Revolution was started by a priest (Father Gapon) and people were carrying banners appealing to the Tsar to sort out the iniquities of the state and their landlords.
Before 1861 the Church was a very important part of Russian peasant identity – most homes had icons of the saints and the Tsar. The priests were, in the poorer areas, ill-educated and drawn from the peasantry itself – so there was a real connection between church and community.

I am a UK citizen with very little french but a great willingness to learn. I would like to volunteer for quite a while maybe 4 months. I would also like to be near the coast, around Bordeaux or on the south west coast. I have volunteered before in catholic missions in palestine and enjoyed it very much. I have some skills in gardening and woodland work.
Contact you diocesan office for missions about ways to volunteer overseas including in France.
Here is some information from the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Missions website: http://www.missionsla.org/missionhome/missionhome.html
With love in Christ.

I would like to go to a christian college. Some of my carrear interests are pharmacist, geneticist, chemist, or even a science teacher.
The best Christian colleges in the US are all good for science. They are:
1. Notre Dame university
2. Boston College
3. Georgetown University
4. Villanova University
5. Holy Cross University
6. Marquette University.
There are a few other reputable Christian universities — like Southern Methodist University. Most colleges that call themselves "Christian" (like Liberty) are not very good academically.
The truth is that you are better off going to a good school and practicing your faith on your own.

I'm trying to prep possible essays my teacher shared for an AP European History Test. One question was "How did the Renaissance and Protestant Reformation influence the development of the Scientific Revolution?" Does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!
The Renaissance and Reformation were liberating influences, encouraging people to think beyond the narrow doctrines of the Catholic Church and develop new methods of inquiry and reasoning, leading to great scientific advances. The life of Galileo best exemplifies this transition.
